Rocky road!

Whew! We walked and walked and then we walked some more!

Sarah, Amie and I made it up to Red Crater during our explorations of Tongariro on Saturday, and between us got sun burnt, dehydrated, scraped, scratched and exhausted. It was super fun. Those of you who haven't been before are going to love it, but our Tongariro shoot is definitely going to be hard work. No question.

The good news is with our last recce complete, we can finally nail the shot list down to locations and get this show on the road. Yehaa! Dates will be sent out this week.

Meanwhile, check out some beautiful prop work by Kevin Jang below...

tongariro was stunning! Although I am thinking a masseuse could be a valuable addition to the crew (sore legs today from all those hills!)

Props are looking superb. Just one question, why has she got a hand grenade? Is it to kill any stray bird life she encounters?

Smart arse! It's a spare battery for Life Support! :-)

But it has a safety pin. It has a fly-off handle. It has a bit called "fuse" on it. It has danger stripes. Could be a grenade ;-)

You're on to me.

Last Flight is actually just a cover for a lucrative arms deal I've got going on the side.

I was thinking that the big hollywood studio who's funding this insisted on a few changes to the script.
Like spare batteries that could be shorted out, converting them into emergency defensive weapons. You know... for fighting martians.
