Colour test

Here's a quick attempt at recolouring some White Island footage to look a bit more like Mars. I also experimented with keying out the sky, but it looks pretty nasty at this stage! ...Still, you've got to love that landscape!

Looks cool! The sky looked reasonably keyed out to me. Not sure what that would be like at high resolution though. You'll need to shoot around the vents of steam coming from the ground though.
What sort of colour filter are you trying?

Cheers guys. Currently experimenting with the 3 way filter in Final Cut, with a bit of sepia, and the YUV settings. I keyed out the sky using the chroma key filter, but had to make the whole thing somewhat transparent to get rid of the clouds - and at high resolution it looks a bit flickery.

Need to stay clear of the vents and cross the fingers for beautiful clear blue skies!
