...and nearly there!

This is a POV shot, hence the oblique view.

I've layered a reflection of the astronaut onto the display, which is quite effective.

I might need to add a small amount of jitter in there as well, to give it a slightly handheld effect, but otherwise I'm pretty pleased with the result.

I like the displays and the mars Vue renders... will there be shots of the displays composited directly on the arm too? Some posts about how you guys are using Shake (which I want to learn) and any tips about Vue would be cool. Also, the rocks are bit too blacky on your mars shot? Dont forget to up the DPI too! Anyway, cheers. ~~~~

Cool - will try and post some stuff along these lines as we go - tho I'm not sure how helpful I can be In Vue (and definitely not in Shake), as I'm a bit of a newbie. Zane from Sunset Studios however is an expert in both. He recently posted a tutorial about how to make roads in Vue on his blog: http://zedspace.wordpress.com/2010/04/08/creating-roads-in-vue-using-shake/
